• How does Overdraft Protection work?

  With Overdraft Protection, you can link up to two savings accounts within your membership to help cover a negative balance in your checking account. This feature allows you to use your savings to cover the charge, so as long as you have enough funds in your savings account, you won't be charged overdraft fees.

• How soon will Overdraft Protection be available after I set up my overdraft flow?

  Once you receive the confirmation email, your Overdraft Protection will be available immediately.

• Can I change the account selection I made for my Overdraft Protection?

  You can make changes to your selection anytime without limitations. 

• Can I use funds from another membership to cover a negative balance on my current membership?

  No, you can only use accounts within the same membership for Overdraft Protection.

• Can Money Market accounts be used to cover negative balances?

  No, Money Market accounts cannot be used for Overdraft Protection due to transaction restrictions. 

• What is a Special Reserve Loan for overdraft protection?

  Our Special Reserve Loan is a line of credit that is linked to your checking account and prevents your account from going negative up to a specific credit limit.

• When will my Special Reserve Loan be used if I also set up Overdraft Protection using my savings accounts?

  Your Special Reserve Loan will be automatically triggered when there are insufficient funds in both your checking and savings account(s) that you designated within the overdraft flow.
