Rachel Kuss, CFP® AIF® CRPS®, has been a financial advisor in Durango since 2006. She began her career in 1998 at a private trust company and joined Dean Witter in 2000 as part of a wealth management team in Austin, Texas. In 2006, she transitioned to UBS Financial Services in Durango, where she worked until 2015, when she moved into independent wealth management.
Passionate about financial education, Rachel has taught “Know Your Dough” classes at Escalante Middle School and enjoys setting up retirement plans for local businesses, empowering community members to retire on their terms. Her focus is on wealth planning and investment management, helping clients seek financial independence and dignity through tailored solutions.
Outside of work, Rachel is married to Tim Kuss, who coaches ski racing. Their daughter, Victoria, plays lacrosse for Fort Lewis, while their son, Bhodi, is an all-around athlete starting Miller Middle School this fall. Rachel also looks forward to volunteering and sponsoring concerts for Music in the Mountains every July.
