How do I activate my new Visa card?

If you receive a new debit or credit card from us in the mail, please note your expiration date and three-digit security code (located on the back of your card) have changed to protect you from fraud.  It is important to mention that we have no evidence your card has been compromised; this reissue is a proactive safeguard. Activate your new card immediately upon receipt, to prevent any lapse in your service.

To activate your new card is easy! To activate your new card is easy.  It can be activated in seconds on this landing page: https://cuofcolorado.digitalcardservice.com/app/activation

Once you activate your new card, please follow this AARP recommendation to dispose of your old card:  “Disable the magnetic strip by cutting it lengthwise or running a magnet along it. Then cut the card into small pieces to make all the above-mentioned info unreadable. For maximum protection, discard different pieces on successive trash pickup days."

If you have automatic transactions with your old card, you’ll need to update those transactions with this new information.

If you have any questions about a reissue of your VISA debit or credit card(s), or any other security concern, please contact us at 1-800-444-4816 or 303-832-4816.
