A checking account is the most basic part of your financial life. But not everyone uses it the same way. That’s why we’ve created three checking account levels—and a special account just for teens—so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. And, no matter which checking option you choose, you have the added convenience of two large, fee-free ATM networks—CO-OP and MoneyPass—with over 62,000 ATMs throughout the US and Canada.
Standard Free Checking
Who says nothing in life is free? Your checking account can be. With benefits like no monthly service fees, mobile deposit, and a fee-free debit card linked to your account, this is a great no-fuss way to pay your bills and make purchases, without using your credit card.
Want to earn interest on your money, without paying a monthly fee? Then, this account is for you. And all you have to do is keep money in your account. You’ll earn interest on days when your balance is at least $1000. And, by just maintaining a $250 balance, you’ll avoid monthly service fees. Plus, you’ll get all the other extras that truly make this account premier, including free standard checks, overdraft protection, and the option of adding items like vision insurance and travel booking services.
Premier Plus Checking
Our Premier Plus Checking account pays you interest on every dollar. It has everything you’d expect in a top-of-the-line checking account, and then some. From no minimum balances and free standard checks to overdraft protection and special added benefits, you get it all.
Teens ‘N’ Charge Account
If the thought of your child with a credit card in hand makes you bite your nails, we can help. Our Teens ‘N’ Charge account is specifically for kids 8 to 18 and is designed to teach them how to be financially responsible. By using this no-fee checking account with a linked debit card, your child will learn the skill of managing his or her own money. They’ll have the convenience of depositing money in a tech savvy way with our Mobile Deposit feature. You can add on Overdraft Protection for kids age 12 to 18 to help them see how credit works, too. Best of all, your child is learning financial know-how while you’re a co-owner on the account and able to oversee all of its activity.
